Skakes deliver pure deep Dubstep on 'The Origin EP'. Soulful atmospheres and basslines with a nice edgy touch is the continuous description of the tracks. The title 'Origin' says it all - the sound of 2011-2013 when it comes to the wobbling baselines and mid-freq-reeses. 'Urban' depicts empty sub-urban streets at night in the rain - long, endless reverberation, edgy saturation, and a tight and heavy beat. 'Weightless' keeps up the sub-heavy bass work from 'Urban' yet with a slightly more tough agenda.
